Marriage Requirements
You must be on Grand Bahama Island for
a period of at least 24 hours on a business day before applying for a marriage certificate.
If you are a US citizen, to enter Grand Bahama Island as well as apply for a marriage certificate,
you must submit either a valid passport or a birth certificate along with government issued photo ID (such as a Driver's License).
If you have ever been divorced, you must
present your divorce decree.
If you are a widow, you must present the
death certificate as well as marriage certificate.
